It’s that time of year again! CAIR-Philadelphia’s Eighth Annual Banquet will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the newly renovated and expanded Springfield Country Club. Our staff and Executive Committee are already hard at work, organizing an inspirational, informative, and fun-filled program for you and your family that promises to be one of the highlights of the Philadelphia Muslim community’s year.
We are very excited to announce that Imam Zaid Shakir, Board Chairman and Co-Founder (together with Sheikh Hamza Yusuf) of Zaytuna College, will be our keynote speaker. Following Imam Zaid and a multimedia program by CAIR-Philadelphia staff and activists, the evening’s entertainment will be topped-off by comedian Azhar Usman. Concurrently, there will be an additional entertainment program for children.
