On Tuesday, Oct. 25, Pennsylvania’s Muslim community, along with the Pennsylvania chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Pennsylvania) and Emgage Pennsylvania, will participate in the Fifth Annual Muslim Capitol Day (MCD) at the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg.

CAIR today released its “2022 Midterm Election Congressional Scorecard,” to help educate Muslim community members and allies as they plan to vote in this year’s midterm November elections, hosted on CAIR’s sponsored Muslim voter empowerment and election resource website: Muslims.Vote

CAIR-Philadelphia will be partnering with InterAct Theatre Company (InterActTheatre.org), an independent theater in Philadelphia with a track record in telling organic stories about various communities of the Philadelphia region. Our colleagues at Interact received a grant to produce three major plays in the next 5 years on Philadelphia's diverse communities.

We are honored that our former executive director and current creative director Jacob Bender received an award at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Annual Convention in Chicago to recognize his years of service to the American Muslim community and to CAIR. Thank you, Jacob, for your ongoing service to our communities!

Delaware Primary Elections are on September 13, 2022. You can still register to vote in Delaware through election day and early vote or vote on Tuesday, September 13.
