INTRODUCTION
CAIR-Pennsylvania is organizing the “First Annual Muslim Capitol Day” (MCD) in Harrisburg on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. MCD will bring dozens of Muslim leaders, community members, and students from around the state to Harrisburg to meet with state senators and representatives, and their staff, in order to express to them the concerns of the Pennsylvania Muslim community.
Muslim Capitol Day will consist of three activities:
- A press conference in the Capitol Rotunda to launch MCD;
- Visits to State Senators and Representatives;
- An afternoon prayer in the Capitol Rotunda.
This will be a historic opportunity for Pennsylvania Muslims to make their voices heard in the halls of government. Learn More…
