The New Year has arrived, and CAIR-Philadelphia’s 2015 Annual Banquet is just around the corner!
The gala event will be held on Saturday evening, March 7th, 2015, 5:00 pm – 9:45 pm, at beautiful Springfield Country Club, in Springfield, PA.
As in years past, the 2015 banquet will be the social event of the year for the Delaware Valley Muslim community, a time to reconnect with old acquaintances, make new friends, and support the nation’s preeminent Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization.
The banquet will also be a time to be inspired and entertained, as this year’s unique theme is “Madinah on the Delaware: A Celebration of Muslim Philadelphia.” With this title, we applaud the many religious, cultural, educational, and economic accomplishments of the diverse Muslim population of our region (indigenous, immigrants, and new Muslims alike). And we are inspired by the example of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Companions (PBUT) who established the first Islamic city in Madinah; hence the name “Madinah on the Delaware.” Read more in our latest e-newsletter…
