The Philadelphia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-PA) held its third Muslim Youth Leadership Conference on Saturday, April 24th and Sunday April 25th at the University of Pennsylvania.

At the conference, which focused on community and interfaith relations, Philadelphia-are high school students discussed the diversity of the Muslim community and learned how to conduct interfaith dialogues. The students also participated in the 7th Annual Interfaith Walk for Peace and Reconciliation.

“It is important that students are proud of the social contributions of Muslims in our community, and it is equally vital that we continue to have dialogues and to collaborate with others from different faith traditions so that we can all make Philadelphia a better place to live,” said CAIR-PA Outreach Director and Conference Coordinator Rugiatu Conteh.
