(PHILADELPHIA, PA, 11/20/07) – The Philadelphia Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-PA) recently conducted a town-hall meeting on “US Foreign Policy and Iran” on the campus of Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. Some 30 students and faculty members participated in the meeting which was led by CAIR-PA member Iftekhar Hussain.
“Thank you so much for coming and presenting on Iran. It was very helpful and it sparked an intense discussion while you were here and also after you left,” said Peder Weigner, student organizer with SPEAK, an on-campus social justice organization.
