(Philadelphia, 9/27/07) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations-Pennsylvania (CAIR-PA) and the Islamic Society of Greater Valley Forge (ISGVF) held an intimate Sharing Ramadan dinner at ISGVF’s facility on Tuesday, September 25, 2007.
“Ramadan is a time of sharing with family and friends and we invited our neighbors to join us for an Iftar meal,” said ISGVF Chairman Muhammad Usman Fazili.
“These events allow American Muslims to share and celebrate the importance of the month of Ramadan with people of all faiths” said Mohammad Aziz, CAIR-PA Philadelphia Executive Committee member.
A dozen neighbors and mosque congregants ate and talked together during the course of the evening.
