Annual Philadelphia Islamic Heritage Festival
This Saturday, June 14th, the Annual Islamic Heritage Festival and Parade returns to Penn’s Landing. It is also the largest Islamic Festival in the country attracting 10,000 people. With a full day of activities, a bazaar, and a variety of entertainment for the whole family, this community driven festival is a great, and free, way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Symposium at Masjidullah
The following day, June 15th, there is an all-day Symposium at Masjidullah/Center for Human Excellence (7402 Limekiln Pike, Philadelphia 19150) on the theme of “The Muslim American Community: Our Legacy and Future Destiny.”
Films from the “Muslim Voices Project” will be screened, and the Expansion Plans of the Muslim American Museum will be unveiled. And CAIR-Philadelphia Executive Director Jacob Bender will be speaking on the afternoon panel (2:00-5:00pm) about “Responding to Islamophobia.” For more information, click the flyer.
