Yesterday in Istanbul, Turkey, an unprecedented Islamic Climate Change Declaration was released, presenting the moral case, based on Islamic teachings, for Muslims and all people to take urgent climate action.
The Declaration calls for a rapid phase-out of fossil fuels, a switch to 100% renewable energy, and increased support for vulnerable communities already suffering from climate impacts.
