
Development & Strategic Communications Director, CAIR-Philadelphia
Naila Haider serves as the Development & Strategic Communications Director at CAIR Philadelphia, where she leads fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and organizational communications in support of the chapter’s civil rights advocacy and community empowerment work.
Prior to joining CAIR Philadelphia, Naila built a career in the private sector leading Product Design and User Experience for mission-driven organizations. With a background in building high-performing teams and designing systems centered on empathy and impact, she brings a strategic, human-centered approach to development and storytelling. Throughout her career, Naila has focused on aligning vision, strategy, and execution to create meaningful and measurable outcomes.
Motivated by a desire to make a tangible difference for the Muslim community, Naila transitioned into the nonprofit sector to help advance a just and inclusive society where all people, regardless of faith or background, are treated with respect and dignity. In this role, she works to strengthen sustainable funding, amplify community voices, and expand the reach and impact of CAIR Philadelphia’s mission.
Naila believes that effective advocacy begins with listening and that powerful storytelling can move hearts, shape policy, and build lasting change.
