CAIR-Philadelphia to Join Multifaith Coalition Press Conference to Launch Pilgrimage for Peace from Philadelphia to DC

(PHILADELPHIA, PA, 2/14/2024) – On Wednesday, Feb. 14, a multifaith coalition of faith leaders, activists, and artists, including Faith for Black Lives, National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA, Rabbis for Ceasefire, the Council on American-Islamic Relations Philadelphia chapter (CAIR-Pennsylvania), Fellowship of Reconciliation, Hindus for Human Rights, and more than 60 other co-sponsoring organizations, will embark on a Pilgrimage for Peace, calling for release of all hostages, a ceasefire in Gaza, and unrestricted humanitarian aid to save lives.

From February 14 to 21, 2024, more than 200 faith leaders, activists, and artists will march from Philadelphia, PA, to Washington, DC to urge President Biden and Congress to act.
