This guide provides a comprehensive overview of congressmembers, senators, state representatives, and state senators and how they voted on issues that are important to Pennsylvania’s Muslim community.

SEE: 2024 Voter Guide for Pennsylvania Muslim Community

The purpose of this guide is to empower American Muslim voters by providing comprehensive information about Pennsylvania politicians’ positions on critical issues affecting our lives, values, and communities. This resource is designed to help voters navigate the complex political landscape of the 2024 election and make informed decisions that reflect the best interests of their community. The Pennsylvania Voter Guide is presented together with CAIR-Nationals’ Voter Guide on Presidential Candidates.

In a statement, CAIR-Philadelphia Executive Director Ahmet Tekelioglu said:

“Our community’s votes this November are critical! The non-partisan Pennsylvania and Presidential Voter Guides will provide Muslim voters with the tools they need to make informed choices at the polls this November. We encourage our community to review them to see how their congressmembers, senators, state senators, and state reps voted on issues that are important for our communities. This guide will help complement CAIR-Philadelphia’s nonpartisan door-knocking and phone banking work that is slated to involve contact with over 75,000 Pennsylvania Muslims.”

In a statement, CAIR-Pittsburgh Executive Director Christine Mohamed said:

“Voting is one of the most powerful ways to advocate for our community and our shared values.  This voter guide goes beyond just reviewing candidates; it’s about empowering our community to advocate for the issues that matter most to us. At CAIR-Pittsburgh, we are committed to ensuring that our voices are heard and our rights are protected. By making informed decisions, we can shape the policies that impact our lives and strengthen our collective future. I encourage every eligible voter to review the guide and head to the polls with confidence this November.”

CAIR-Pennsylvania encourages our communities to also review our Vote for Justice themed FAQ page for all questions concerning voting in Pennsylvania.
