(Philadelphia, 9/27/07) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations-Pennsylvania (CAIR-PA) encourages American Muslims in the Delaware Valley to donate generously to the Eid Al-Fitr Gift Basket Program for the needy on Eid Day.
“Help make a family’s Eid brighter by donating to this program,” said CAIR-PA Executive Committee member Kareem Afzal.
Last year’s program went to help over 50 families and the elderly. More than 200 baskets have been donated to the needy over the past 3 years.
This program is part of MuslimsCare, promoting volunteerism for a better America.
