Additional precautions will be observed during the banquet, including a streamlined program, reduced seating arrangement, eliminating the reception hour and having food served to attendees at their tables.

Vaccination

We are requiring our adult guests to be masked and vaccinated. Please be prepared to present your vaccine record at the entrance.

If you are not vaccinated, we will require you to present proof of negative PCR COVID-19 test completed within 72 hours or negative Antigen COVID-19 test 3 hours before the event. We will screen for measurable symptoms and ask that anyone with symptoms avoid joining the event. (If you need to conduct a self-administered antigen test, we request that you come to the banquet and take the test on-site [we will also have a limited number of tests available]. If the test is conducted at a lab, the 3-hour window is applicable.)

Face-Coverings

We will continue to follow CDC, PA Department of Health, and the PA Department of Education guidelines regarding face coverings.

As part of our safety measures, we require everyone attending the banquet to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Anyone who ignores this policy will not be permitted access to the event. The mask must fit well, with no gaps, and fully cover your nose and mouth.

The following persons are exempt from the face coverings requirement:

  • Children under 5 years old.
  • Persons for whom a face mask or covering creates a health risk or is not safe because of any of the following conditions or circumstances:
    • the face mask or covering affects the person’s ability to breathe safely;
    • the person has a mental health or other medical diagnosis that advises against wearing a face mask or covering;
    • the person has a disability that prevents them from wearing a face mask or covering; or
    • the person depends on supplemental oxygen to breathe.

Should you have any of the aforementioned conditions, you must notify banquet and childcare staff.

Hand Sanitizer Stations

We will have hand sanitizing systems easily accessible.

Spacing Measures

Social distancing practices will be implemented where feasible according to the guidelines set forth by the State of Pennsylvania.

No Contact Policy

To assist in minimizing potential physical contact, elbow bumps are a great alternative to handshakes or hugs.

Health and Safety Signage

Signage will be placed to remind all children and staff to frequently wash and sanitize their hands.

Screening for Childcare

Parents and children will be required to participate in a wellness check before they enter the childcare area. The wellness check will require temperature checks and a short questionnaire. Everyone will be asked the following questions:

  • In the past 24 hours, have you experienced COVID-19 symptoms?
  • Have you or people whom you have close contact with, like someone who lives in your house, a relative, a friend, or a co-worker:
    • tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days or
    • had any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days?

Participants who answer yes to any of the screening questions will be denied entry.

To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please do not attend the banquet.
