Salma is deeply committed to youth empowerment and community engagement. She currently works as a scientist in vaccine development and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Studies as well as Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University.

Salma’s dedication to supporting young people is evident in her extensive teaching and mentoring experiences. She has had the privilege of guiding students across a variety of subjects, fostering an environment that encourages understanding and knowledge-sharing. Salma’s commitment also extends to tutoring elementary school students, where she actively contributes to their educational growth.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Salma has a genuine passion for creative endeavors. In her leisure time, she enjoys crocheting, reading, and jewelry making, reflecting her enthusiasm for nurturing individual expression and creativity.
