Ijaz is second generation Pakistani American who has been engaged in the American Muslim civil rights and civic engagement for the past three decades. With a legal background as a graduate of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, he was worked with major law firms professionally and on behalf of many Muslim non-profit organizations to protect rights of Muslims and minorities. Ijaz is one of the founders of CAIR-Philadelphia in 2004 and was the first legal intern working with CAIR National in the 1990s.
Ijaz is a lifelong Pennsylvania resident with a passion for civic engagement and youth development.
