CAIR-PA hosts Conestoga High School Students at the Foundation for Islamic Education

(Philadelphia, PA, 11/08/07) – The Philadelphia Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-PA) hosted a presentation about Islam and Muslims to Conestoga High School students at the Foundation for Islamic Education, Villanova, PA on Thursday November 8, 2007. About 40 students attended with their teachers.

“Visits by American high school students to local mosques is part of the outreach efforts organized by CAIR through mosques in the Delaware Valley. The visits provide an insight to Pennsylvania students about their neighbors’ faith traditions,” said CAIR-PA Board member Dr. Mahmoud Siddiqui.

“We were happy that Conestoga High School 9th graders came to visit our mosque and learn about Islam and Muslims,” said Manal El-Menshawy, the organizer of the visit at the Foundation for Islamic Education.
