Jaala graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University in May 2023. She is currently pursuing further education, with a focus on specializing in treating individuals, particularly children and adolescents, who have been mentally affected by experiences in war-torn countries.
She has been fortunate to live in diverse places such as Damascus and Istanbul as well as Pennsylvania and Indiana. These experiences gave her a unique perspective on mental health, especially in relation to the Middle East.
Previously, Jaala worked with children diagnosed with Autism and other intellectual disabilities. This role deepened her understanding and passion for mental health care, and she is eager to continue making a difference in this field.
