CAIR Pittsburgh continues its renewed campaign to spread awareness and ensure that all know their rights. Here are some pictures from our most recent Know-Your-Rights workshop this past weekend at An-Nur Islamic Center in Wilkinsburg. The program consisted of an engaging community meeting, followed by the workshop. A special thank you to the honorable ACLU Attorney, Mike Healey. An additional thank you to the An-Nur Islamic Center for hosting the program. It was a very informative afternoon. Please be sure to contact us if you would like us to set up a Know-Your-Rights workshop for your institution in the near future.<\/div>\n

  • Open to all who wish to become a continuing part of Muslim Communications strength in Pittsburgh<\/li>\n

    Muslim Capitol Day<\/b><\/div>\n

    • Tuesday<\/span><\/span> – October 20, 2015<\/span><\/span> (All day)<\/li>\n
    • A visit to the Capitol Building in Harrisburg by a delegation of the leadership of the Pennsylvania Muslim community and its supporters<\/li>\n
    • The visit will consist of three events:\n
        \n
      • A rally\/press conference under the Capitol<\/span>\u00a0Rotunda<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Visits to State Senators and Representatives \u2014 or their staff \u2014 to express the concerns of the Muslim community to their elected officials<\/li>\n
      • A traditional Islamic prayer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        Outreach Tables and Islamophobia Awareness Programs<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
