CAIR-PA Condemns Anti-Semitic Attack on Jewish Student

(PHILADELPHIA, PA, 2/29/08) – The Philadelphia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-PA) today condemned an apparently anti-Semitic attack on a Penn State Jewish student on the campus of Temple University.

“We join Pennsylvanians of all faiths in condemning this apparently anti-Semitic attack,” said CAIR-PA Civil Rights Director Justin Peyton. “Students should feel safe on campus and we applaud Temple University President Ann Weaver Hart’s strong denunciation of the attack.”

CAIR, America’s largest Muslim civil liberties group, has 35 offices, chapters and affiliates nationwide and in Canada.
